RED NOSE DAY & CRF: Choose Stephen’s Adventure… Again.

Saturday, April 2, 2022 update: Our donation polls are currently closed so that we can get ready for production but we are still actively raising money to support children living below the poverty line with our friends at Red Nose Day. We are teaming up yet again with our friends at Red Nose Day for a special fundraiser to help eradicate childhood poverty. This is incredibly important right now, as the world is still fighting a global pandemic and recovering from the impact that the past few years has had.
To add a little cherry on top of the good news sundae, we’re also joining forces once again with the one, the only, Stephen Colbert! Our very own Matthew Mercer will be joined by a handful of Critical Role founders/cast (which will be announced a little later) for a very special one-shot adventure with Stephen, which we’ll be recording in early April.
If you happened to join our last campaign with Stephen Colbert and Red Nose Day way back in 2019, you might remember that we asked you, our wonderful audience, to help shape Stephen’s adventure through the power of the donation polls – and we’re bringing it back for Red Nose Day 2022!
Here’s how it works:
- We have carefully crafted a handful of options that we think will create a memorable and unique experience – for Mr. Colbert, for our cast, and for you, our incredible audience.
- Through your donations, YOU will choose Stephen’s adventure. What kind of familiar will Stephen bring along for his adventure? What about a special magic item that might have unintended consequences? Or a special one-time use spell that might just come in handy at the most opportune time? Well, friends, the choice is all yours!
- The polling options that garner the most donations will be incorporated into our one-shot, which will air on on our Twitch channel Thursday, April 28th at 7pm Pacific. And, most importantly – your donation will support Red Nose Day’s very important mission to help children living below the poverty line.
- Polling will be open starting from this exact moment (aka go donate right now!) through Friday, April 1st at 6pm Pacific (this is not an April Fools Day joke, scout’s honor).
In addition to the polls (and after our polls close too!) there are a few other ways that you can continue to support our 2022 Red Nose Day campaign with Stephen Colbert, including:
- Picking up some sweet CRF merch from one of our shops!
- Running your own fundraiser to benefit Critical Role Foundation using either Tiltify or Streamlabs
- A direct donation via criticalrolefoundation.org
- Sharing our campaign with friends and family – it really does help!
You can vote, donate, and share RIGHT NOW over at critrole.com/rednoseday. Once you enter your information within the Tiltify platform (Step 1), you will then be asked to vote, which you can allocate to whichever poll question tickles your fancy the most (Step 2). If you’d like to vote on multiple (or even better, all!) of the polling options, you will need to make separate donations for each based on how the polling system works. We encourage you to donate and return often before the polls close to ensure that you’re most favorite story elements are included in our one-shot!
