What happens when two former child actors, who grew up on Hollywood sets surrounded by adults, look back and realize just how bizarre their upbringing really was? They start a podcast of course!
Starring our very own weirdos Ashley Johnson and Taliesin Jaffe, we are absolutely THRILLED to announce a brand new series coming to Beacon on March 25th (with a special live event on March 20th), Weird Kids.
In this retro styled podcast, Ashley Johnson and Taliesin Jaffe deep dive into their lives as the “Weird Kids”, unraveling their eccentric childhoods, swapping behind-the-scenes stories, and embracing their delightfully unique interests that set them apart.
From antique toys and taxidermy to Japanese pop culture and the quirks of LA life, no topic is too obscure!
Weird Kids is for anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t quite fit in and is a place to cherish all the eclectic things that make this world more fun. So to all the misfits, outcasts, and weirdos out there, come take a seat at our table and celebrate all things unconventional, nostalgic, and wonderfully weird.

Mark your calendars! To commemorate the premiere of the series, Ashley Johnson and Taliesin Jaffe will host a LIVE (yes LIVE) Weird Kids launch party on Thursday, March 20th at 7pm Pacific via Beacon, YouTube, and Twitch.
The live stream will share behind-the-scenes details about the making of the show, a Q&A with questions from YOU, and will jump into the premiere episode of Weird Kids.

WHERE TO WATCH & LISTEN
New episodes of Weird Kids will only be available through Beacon.
This means full episodes will be exclusive to Beacon members and will not be available on other platforms. The VOD and podcast of the premiere episode will be released on Beacon on March 25th at 5am Pacific and will continue to release every week on Tuesdays at 5am Pacific.
But don’t fret! We know the wise, weird words of Ashley Johnson and Taliesin Jaffe deserve to be shared with the world. So here’s a little run-down of the first few chances to experience these weird kids:
Thursday, March 20th at 7pm Pacific: Live launch party and the full episode 1 premiere!
Tuesday, March 25th: Premiere Episode VOD & Podcast available everywhere!
- 5am Pacific: Available on Beacon and your preffered podcast platform
- 9am Pacific: Available on the Critical Role YouTube Channel and Weird Kids YouTube Channel
After these premiere dates, all new episodes will only be available on Beacon but we will be posting plenty of bite sized videos from the show on our @TheWeirdKidsPod YouTube Channel!
