It All Started With A Kickstarter…
After we concluded our first campaign, we knew we wanted to keep coming back to these characters and bring to life Vox Machina and the ever-growing world of Exandria.
.
We launched a crowdfunding project in hopes of creating a one-episode animated special, but the overwhelming love and support of our amazing Critter community allowed us to dream much bigger — raising enough money to animate an entire season.
In fact, thanks to the support of our backers, our Kickstarter became the most successful Film & Video Kickstarter campaign of all time.
The endless support from our community lead to our long lasting partnership with Titmouse and Prime Video who have helped us create four full seasons (so far) of our first animated series, The Legend of Vox Machina.
.This brought our stories, characters, and communtiy to a whole new set of fans and maintains a 100% Rotten Tomato score on all four seasons.
We then had the opportunity to bring our second campaign to life in, The Mighty Nein — with 45 minute animated episodes following our group of motley adventurers who find themselves caught in the middle of a war between two nations.
They’re rowdy, they’re ragtag, they’re misfits turned mercenaries for hire. Vox Machina is more interested in easy money and cheap ale than actually protecting the realm.
But when the kingdom is threatened by evil, this boisterous crew realizes that they are the only ones capable of restoring justice. What began as a simple payday is now the origin story behind Exandria’s newest heroes.
