HYPE: Daggerheart is Officially Here!

After a long awaited journey, new adventures start here! We are thrilled to announce that Daggerheart is finally available in our Critical Role shops (US, CA, EU, UK, AU), Darrington Press Guild stores, and other FLGS. Also, Daggerheart will be coming soon to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other bookstores! BUT THAT’S NOT ALL, it’s available digitally on Demiplane and DriveThruRPG — start playing it now!
To kick off the official launch of Daggerheart and add to your gameplay, we also released a shiny, new Daggheart Dice Set this morning specifically made to pair quite nicely with the Daggerheart rulebook and play! Check out your Critical Role online store to get yours today.

It’s what all your homebrewers have been waiting for! We are super excited that Darrington Press’s CGL has been updated to include Daggheart! We can not wait to see all the creations you all make in our new system. For all our lovely creators out there, check out the Daggerheart System Reference document as well for all the great content, mechanics, and text you can use, including logos for all your homebrew publishing and streaming needs going forward! Kicking off the official launch day is a LIVE STREAM TODAY at 1pm Pacific with the Daggerheart developers AND Critical Role founders. Tune in on Beacon.tv as well as Critical Role’s YouTube and Twitch to celebrate the launch of Daggerheart, along with some really cool reveals and first looks that you absolutely don’t want to miss!
Also launching today is our brand new Daggerheart how-to-series Get Your Sheet Together (GYST)! This fun and informative series is kicking off with 5 episodes over the next week, covering the core rules and best practices of Daggerheart for players and GMs in easily-digestible short videos. Episode 1 of GYST drops today at noon on both Critical Role’s and Darrington Press’s YouTube channels and of course on Beacon. The subsequent episodes will air at noon on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and the following Tuesday! Let us know on socials what how-to videos you’d like to see for our next batch.
To round out our amazing launch week, this Thursday we will have a super exciting Session Zero episode of our newest mini-series Age of Umbra, that features Matthew Mercer’s Daggerheart campaign frame of characters striving for hope in an ominous survival fantasy world! Tune in at 7pm to see our fantastic cast get ready to dive into this new setting with their new characters and all-new mechanics!
