This six-part Daggerheart mini-series features GM Matthew Mercer and players Laura Bailey, Jennifer English, Abubakar Salim, Vico Ortiz, and Zachery Renauldo.
While our story is set in the same world as Critical Role’s 2025 mini-series Age of Umbra, The Halcyon Domain, this is a standalone tale that requires no prior knowledge to enjoy! You’ll join a group of misfits as they explore a brand new area of this world known as The Sallowlands. These cracked and broken badlands are formed in the dry bed of a colossal ancient lake, which holds mysteries as intriguing as they are deadly.
This is a dark fantasy story set in a crumbling world abandoned by its gods: The tone is grim, and the odds are daunting – but it is not without hope. The game is played in Daggerheart, a fantasy TTRPG that offers a uniquely suspenseful and narrative-focused framework, and the core mechanics keep the tension high and the possibilities endless. There’s still plenty of time to catch up on the world and characters, and you can listen to the theme song by Omar Fadel on music streaming platforms, and add it to your social media posts on the Instagram music library. And if you’re brave enough to face the horrors in your home games, you can download a map of The Sallowlands, as well as pre-gen characters and adversaries from 2025’s Age of Umbra!
