The Chronicles of Exandria Vol. II: Standard Cover Close-Up

At our live show during Gen Con this year, we announced our follow-up art book — The Chronicles of Exandria Vol. II: The Legend of Vox Machina — and we wanted to offer you a closer look at our badass standard edition cover art.
The standard cover features work by comic artist superstars Matteo Scalera (Black Science, Batman, Hulk, Deadpool) and Moreno Dinisio (Black Science, Batman, Dead Body Road, Resurrectionists). As you can see below, this incredible cover art features the epic-level members of Vox Machina geared up for battle against Vecna, the Whispered One, with his insidious and omnipresent artifacts looming in the background.
“It has been the biggest thrill collaborating with our favorite artists from the comic scene over the last few years and this piece is no exception. I’ve been fascinated with Matteo’s art style ever since I discovered Black Science,” said our resident art curator and founder of Critical Role, Liam O’Brien. “He just brings such unique character to his work, I knew his take on Vox Machina would be one of a kind. I absolutely love what he and Moreno created for us.”
