The Chronicles of Exandria Vol I: The Tale of Vox Machina is finally back—it flew off the shelves after its first printing in 2017, and is now reprinted by our own Darrington Press and available to you! This art book collects some of our favorite creations by Critter artists from around the world, spotlighting the first half of the Vox Machina campaign.
Pick up this art book today from Critical Role shops (US, UK, Canada, Australia, and EU) and Darrington Press Guild stores, or find it soon at other friendly local game stores.
Inside of this amazing coffee table formatted book are over 250 pages featuring artwork of each member of Vox Machina, their frenemies and confidants, and the journeys they took. Additionally, commentary text accompanies the book’s chapters, written from the in-world perspective of Exandria’s Cobalt Soul archivists! Adding to the already-awesome collection, we refreshed the book and added 5 pieces of new-to-the-book artwork, like this piece by Idamaria Pajala!
A wondrous team brought together The Chronicles of Exandria Vol I: The Tale of Vox Machina, and we can’t thank them enough. Each piece was lovingly curated and art directed by Lauryn Ipsum as well as by Liam O’Brien and Taliesin Jaffe. Lauryn also provided layout and design for this beautiful tome. Our cover art is all thanks to Joe Madureira (Penciller) and Grace Liu (Colorist)! Wrangling the words were James Haeck, Taliesin, and Liam, with additional copy by the rest of the cast of Critical Role. Keeping things tidy and in their proper places were copyeditors and proofreaders David Alexander Willis and Meredith Katz, with project management provided by TL Frasqueri-Molina.
