A new series is coming to the Midst Cosmos!

Check out our new audio adventure UNEND as three unreliable and fourth wall breaking narrators regale you with a reality bending, sci-fantasy tale of exploration about a supernatural ship capable of traversing the furthest reaches of the universe.

UNEND premieres October 9th on Beacon, Midst.co, the Midst Podcast YouTube Channel, and your preferred podcast streaming platform.

What Is UNEND About? What is the “Midst Cosmos”?

UNEND focuses on a supernatural ship and a remarkable crew that set forth on an expedition to explore the highest heights, deepest depths, and furthest reaches of the known Cosmos. But their journey is fraught with peril as they discover truths and realities far stranger than any of them could ever imagine…

Though UNEND takes place several decades after the events of the Midst podcast and the Moonward roleplaying story, rest assured it is a standalone series and doesn’t require any previous knowledge of the Midst Cosmos!
Our narrators may be unreliable, but you’ll still have everything you need to understand the surreal story ahead as they guide you through this voyage.

For some context: The cosmic biosphere of this universe consists of two halves (that we know of): above is a dazzling bright atmosphere called “The Un” and below is a sea of dark otherworldly fog called “The Fold.” The illuminated Un is captivating in its dangerous beauty with floating shards of giant shimmering glass known as “Mica” roaming through the sky. The Fold is also “a sight to behold”… but this spooky ocean of cosmic darkness swims with reality-bending storms, called tearrors, that cause lasting mayhem to those exposed. So… liveable, if you don’t mind a few extra mutations here and there.

Within both the Un and the Fold are planetoids known as islets, and the one islet that lies in between both halves of these cosmos is the legendary “Midst” that we encountered in the original series. As we venture out into the “Midst Cosmos”, the universe expands and new tales lie in wait for our explorers – from the highest heights of the Un to the murky and mysterious depths of the Fold, where no one has ventured, until now…

Who are the Creators of UNEND

Third Person (aka Xen, Matt Roen, and Sara Wile from Moonward & the creators of Midst) will be returning as your unreliable, fourth wall breaking narrators for the series!

This talented trio serves as the creators, artists, and producers of UNEND so expect it to be just as mind blowing as the original Midst series.

Plus, just like Midst and Moonward, the idea of UNEND was originally created through a playful form of collaborative storytelling in which the three friends used the power of improvisation to weave another intricate tale from the Midst Cosmos! They then turned this story into a magnificently produced audio adventure!

We’re endlessly grateful to be working with this talented group again and we can’t wait to explore more of the universe they created.
