Exandria Unlimited: Calamity Q&A With Travis Willingham

Another Day, Another Q&A!

With so many new storytellers in this special mini-series, we thought it would be fun to share a little more about our Calamity Cast with a Q&A! HOWEVER, to make it a little more spicy, we made our Q&A “End of the World” themed to match the Calamity vibe.

Each week during Calamity, check back here at critrole.com to learn more about these heroic characters and the cast bringing this story to life!

Hear from the phenomenal Travis Willingham in our next ExU: Calamity Q&A!

Tell us a little bit about you and your character in Exandria Unlimited: Calamity.

Cerrit “Pinch” Agrupnin is an Eisfuuran (bird-person) Inquisitive Rogue. This Senior Sightwarden of the Eyes of Avalir has made a name for himself seeing the details that others may miss when foul play is afoot. Cerrit has a very strong sense of morality, and loses himself in his work – so much so that it puts a strain on his home life and personal relationships. He feels a strong sense of duty and responsibility to Avalir, and to do what he can to be a check against the allure of power that so frequently pulls even the most well-intended practitioners of the arcane.

Let’s imagine that some sort of unavoidable disaster is on the brink, you’ve found some sort of way to accept it and start planning for the absolute best event of your life. What would you do and who would accompany you?

That’s dark. LOL. Cerrit would rally his family close – his two kids, and would do his best to reach their mother who is off on another ‘long term research trip’. Then he’d whip up the largest banquet of the most delicious offerings Avalir has to offer and stuff himself good and proper. No one wants to face the end on an empty stomach.

In your opinion, what is the most iconic fictional death in popular media?

That’s a big title to hold, but in recent memory, it would have to go to Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame, snapping Thanos and his minions away in his greatest moment of selflessness.

Do you have a bucket list? If so, tell us all about it.

Strangely, I want to live somewhere with very cold winters for at least a year. Go figure.

What do you want people to remember you for?

For being dependable and making any situation fun.

Tune into Exandria Unlimited: Calamity Thursdays at 7pm Pacific on Twitch and Youtube! Also, be sure to check back here tomorrow for another Calamity Q&A with THE Sam Riegel (and it’s not even sponsored)!
