Ingredients:
- Butterfly Pea Tea Petals
- Simple Syrup/Honey/Sugar
- Sparkling Water
- Edible Lustre Dust (can be found in the baking aisles of craft stores or on online)
- Lemon Juice
Directions:
- Add 10-15 Butterfly Pea Tea Petals to 2 cups of hot water, allow to seep for a couple minutes. Seeping the petals too long will make the tea too strong, so go until a nice light blue color appears then remove petals and allow tea to cool completely. (or sweeten as desired at this point)
- Before serving, stir in a pinch of lustre dust (a little goes a long way) into blue tea
- In a glass add your tea, sugar, and top with Sparkling Water stir (Sparkling Water can be subbed for clear liquor of your choice)
- Serve over ice (optional)
- Add a small amount of lemon juice and stir
