Our Fall 2026 Programming Lineup!

Between Campaign 4 reaching life-or-death stakes in Aramán, our Weird Kids traveling through space & time with their second season, our misfit survivors once more braving the Halcyon Domain in Age of Umbra: Sallowlands, and our Echoes of Exandria live shows, we’ve been quite busy over here.
But as our wise Creative Director, Marisha Ray, once said, we are JUST. GETTING. STARTED.
As you may have seen earlier today in our State of the Role livestream, there are lots of new adventures making their way to your screens over the next few months!
October 18th || The Long Rest
The Long Rest is a family-friendly podcast narrated by the cast and friends of Critical Role. Each episode features two short stories from familiar worlds and beyond, making it perfect for winding down before your own long rest.
Settle in for your first long rest with Sunday (Fun) Scaries!
Taliesin Jaffe narrates “The Torchbearer” by Jared Deiro, set in the world of Candela Obscura.
Luis Carazo then takes us to Exandria with “The Night of Ascension” by Dani Carr.
- Premieres October 18th evening only on Beacon by Critical Role.
- New episodes release monthly exclusively on Beacon by Critical Role.
October 20th || Tale Gate
Pull up a chair, darling, because our Tale Gate hostess with the mostest has gossip to share!
Join Whitney Moore next week as she welcomes Luis Carazo, Aabria Iyengar, and Alexander Ward to her table for an evening of piping hot tea. Together they’ll dish on the latest scandals from Aramán and the behind-the-scenes happenings of Campaign 4.
And for our dear Beacon Bits, do stay tuned immediately following the show for The Night Cap: an after-hours continuation where the cast answers your questions live from our Beacon exclusive Discord chat!
- Tale Gate airs LIVE on Tuesday, October 20th at 7pm Pacific on Beacon, Twitch, and YouTube.

October 28th || All Work No Play
Our very own Sam Riegel and Liam O’Brien are best friends who still have to make special plans to hang out, and this time they went all out! As the boys turn 50, All Work No Play returns with six all-new episodes of fabulous adventures around the world, a few friends along the way, and drinks-in-hand debriefs about the fun they done.
- Releases every other Wednesday (mostly) starting October 28th at 5am Pacific, only on Beacon by Critical Role.
Mid November || Shattered Legends (Critical Role x hololive production)
Critical Role and hololive production are teaming up for an all-new adventure! Game Master Matthew Mercer leads Marisha Ray, Nerissa Ravencroft, Mori Calliope, Shiori Novella, and Gigi Murin through Shattered Legends, a six-part canon Exandria mini-series played using Daggerheart.
- Premiering mid-November and continuing Fridays on Nerissa Ravencroft’s YouTube, Critical Role YouTube, and Beacon by Critical Role.
- Beacon members will receive exclusive access to Cooldowns for each episode, our Session 0, and a LIVE Fireside Chat with Matthew Mercer & Nerissa Ravencroft in December.
- Plus in early 2027 we’ll be hosting a post show wrap-up with the full cast.
October to December || Fireside Chats
Cozy up by the tavern fire and prepare your burning questions as we head into our last three Fireside Chats of the year!
First on the docket, our great eldritch being Taliesin Jaffe and the one and only chaos queen Whitney Moore are making their way to the tavern TONIGHT at 7pm Pacific to answer all your Campaign 4 questions and maybe even do a tarot reading while they’re at it.
Then next month on November 23rd, catch our fierce leader and Creative Director Marisha Ray in the hot seat and ready to answer any questions thrown her way!
And for our last Fireside Chat of the year, Matthew Mercer shall make his return to the tavern on December 15th with special hololive production guest Nerissa Ravencroft.

Grog’s Holiday Adventure! | Fort Worth, December 3rd
Inspired by the wild changes sweeping across Exandria that he doesn’t fully understand, Grog excitedly drags his friends into another imaginary adventure through ale-stained tavern-table-top dice games to celebrate the coming Winter’s Crest! With the Grand-Poobah de Doink of All of This and That back in the GM seat, what deeply-woven plots and philosophically inspiring conundrums shall he devise for them? We shall see!
Our very own Texan, Travis Willingham, will take the GM seat at Dickies Arena.

January 13th || Reign of the Weredragon
This last one may not technically be a fall release, but we simply couldn’t resist sharing it with you!
This January, we’re airing Reign of the Weredragon, a unique, livestreamed Daggerheart mini-series based on the Hope & Fear campaign frame of the same name and GM’d by one of its writers, the legendary Chris Perkins!
- We’re inviting you to join us in a behind-the-scenes, interactive look at what GMing Daggerheart is like.
- The show will debut Wednesday, January 13th and air LIVE weekly on Wednesdays—you’ll want to tune in for chances to influence the story and shape the game.

Alrighty this should just about cover all the SHOWS coming your way this season…but we’re not done yet!
There will also be a few one-shot adventures sliding into this schedule and we’ll be sure to fill you in as we add the finishing touches to those details.
In fact, while you’re already marking those calendars, be sure to put November 17th on the books because that will be the official date of our latest Critical Role Foundation one-shot, Battle of the Bards!
Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Sam Riegel, and a few bards from our world will join us at the table for a one-shot that will rock your socks off and that you will be able to affect in real time! More on that soon!
