HYPE: Cosplay Galleries, Cosplay of the Week, and New SUBMIT Process
Written by Rachel on May 14, 2019
Every single day, we’re humbled by the sheer volume of incredible cosplay created by the Critter community and today, we’re excited to honor this amazing art form. You put an endless amount of love, time, and creativity into bringing our characters to life through some of the most breathtaking cosplay in the entire universe and we’re proud to announce two new cosplay-related additions to Critical Role Land.
MONTHLY COSPLAY GALLERIES!
First, monthly cosplay galleries are coming to critrole.com! We’ll select a handful of our favorite submissions each month and publish them in a gallery on the first Monday of each month.
To submit your cosplay for our new monthly fan cosplay, please visit critrole.com/submit and follow the instructions.
COSPLAY OF THE WEEK AND NEW SUBMISSION FORM!
Next, we’ve retired our GIF of the Week contest on Talks Machina in place of a brand new Cosplay of the Week contest. Please note that you may only submit photos of one cosplayer at a time and only one winner will be selected each week. This means that group cosplay photos do not qualify for the contest.
Our Cosplay of the Week contest is brought to you by our good friends and longtime sponsors at Wyrmwood Gaming, who have provided one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gaming goods as prizes for our weekly Talks Machina contests since the show’s start (Thank you, Wyrmwood! We love you!).
We also have an important change regarding both Talks Machina Fan Art of the Week and our new Cosplay of the Week submissions.
Moving forward, instead of emailing your fan art (and now cosplay!) for our weekly contests, fill out the form at critrole.com/submit. Entries provided through our old email address (submit@talksmachina.com) are no longer qualified for entry.
We created our brand new submission form as an easier way to submit your art and cosplay for our weekly contests and web galleries at the same time.
Of course, our beloved art dad, Liam O’Brien, will still check fan art submissions using the #criticalrolefanart hashtag on Twitter or Tumblr, so please keep sharing your incredible art with the entire Critterverse!
